Nutrition Facts Label Maker - Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Nutrition Facts Label Maker ("the app"), a Canva app made by Hewnpath ("we", "us") that generates nutrition panels and inserts them into your Canva design. By using the app you agree to these terms.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app inside Canva for creating designs. The app is provided free of charge.

2. Your panels are yours

Panels you generate with the app, and any design you make with them, are yours to use, edit and publish. We claim no ownership over your designs.

3. Not a compliance certification

The app formats and calculates a nutrition panel from the amounts you enter, following the FDA and EU rounding rules. It does not verify or certify that your label meets any regulation. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and for meeting FDA, EU or local labeling rules. The panel is a drafting aid, not legal or regulatory advice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or use it in violation of Canva's terms or applicable law.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, improve or discontinue the app at any time. It runs on the Canva platform, and its availability depends on Canva.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. While the panels are generated from deterministic arithmetic and intended to be accurate, we do not warrant that the app will be error free, uninterrupted, or fit for meeting any particular regulatory requirement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hewnpath is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under your local law.
