Bracketeer - Privacy Policy

Hewnpath ("we", "us") built Bracketeer, a Canva app that generates tournament brackets and schedules and inserts them into your design. This policy explains, plainly, what Bracketeer does with your data: essentially nothing.

1. What Bracketeer collects

Nothing. Bracketeer does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no user accounts, no login, no backend server, no database, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.

2. How it works

Bracketeer runs entirely inside the Canva editor. The names you type and the choices you make (format, style, seeding and the other options) are used only, in the moment, to build the bracket from tournament logic, and to draw the live preview. That information stays in your Canva editor session and is never sent to us or to anyone else.

3. No AI, no external services

The bracket is produced by deterministic tournament logic, not by an AI model or a remote service. Bracketeer makes no network calls to Hewnpath and uses no third parties for its features. Nothing about your design leaves Canva through Bracketeer.

4. The Canva platform

Bracketeer runs on Canva, and your use of Canva is governed by Canva's own terms and privacy policy. When Bracketeer inserts a bracket, it does so through Canva's official app APIs, with the design-content permission you approve. See Canva's privacy policy.

5. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete. If you have any question, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Changes

We will update this policy if Bracketeer ever changes in a way that affects it, and revise the effective date above.
